Does this replace regular floss?
For most people it's a far easier habit to keep up, and a routine you actually stick to beats one you skip. Some people use both. Your dentist or hygienist can tell you what makes sense for your situation.
My gums bleed the first few times. Is that normal?
It's common in the first week or two and usually settles as your gums get used to the routine. Stay on the lowest pressure while that happens. If it continues, check in with your dentist or hygienist.
Can I use it with braces, implants or crowns?
Yes. The orthodontic tip is made for cleaning around brackets, and water flossing is often more comfortable there than string floss. Start low and work slowly.
Can it be used in the shower?
No. The Floss Station is splash-resistant (IPX4) and made for use at the sink. For shower use, the cordless Floss Pro is the one you want.
When do I replace the tips?
Every three to six months, or sooner if a tip looks worn. Replacements are available separately.
In the Netherlands we deliver Monday to Saturday, so an order placed on Friday evening arrives on Saturday. We don't deliver on Sundays: orders placed on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday arrive on the next delivery day. In Belgium we deliver on business days only.

Fill the 600 ml reservoir with lukewarm water and choose Clean. Start at a low pressure level if your gums feel sensitive — you can build up at your own pace.

Lean slightly forward over the sink. Rest the tip against your gum line and keep your lips loosely closed, so the water runs out quietly.
Move calmly from the back to the front along the gum line. Pause for about two seconds at each space between your teeth. With a full reservoir there is no need to hurry.
Braces, bridges or crowns? The Orthodontic tip is shaped to clean around them.
The same unhurried movement, now along your lower jaw. Let the water do the work; there is no need to press or scrub.
Sensitive spots along the gum line? The Periodontal tip cleans there a little more gently and precisely.
Switch to the Tongue Scraper tip and work from the back of your tongue forwards in a few calm strokes. This is the step that makes your mouth feel properly fresh.
Prefer a softer finish? Switch to Massage and let the water run along your gums for a moment.
